I LOVED this book it is so unlike '13 Curses' , so much less scary. It was brilliant!!! If you enjoyed '13 Treasures' but don't want to get freaked out by '13 Curses' you can still read 13 secrets because it does not mention the last books adventures very much. It mentions it once or twice, but apart from that. A great read! x
I think that this was a amazing read it had so much suspense in it I couldn't believe what I was reading at some points I would recommend for any one who likes a good suspense thriller book to read the first book (the thirteen treasures ) and then the rest of the series first and then read this one
For all those fantasy lovers I recommend this book. Not only does it give a whole new meaning to the word ‘Fairy’, but its very well written and a great story line. ‘THE MYSTICAL MIRROR’ by Peter Killick is another great read. I recommend them both.
Got these books for my daughter who absoloutely loves them! She has never been so absorbed in a book and she even tells me she wants her own Mizhog ( not really sure what that is, she even had to correct my spelling! ) a big thank-you to Michelle Harrison for putting such a smile on her face and even given her inspiration for a stroy she's writing for English. She says it's a brilliant end to a fantastic series, it even made her cry at the end of this book!
Having read the 13 treasures then 13 curses I found the 13 secrets just as absorbing and an excellent read... A must have trilogy for any ages, I enjoyed it just as much as my 10 year old daughter. We never thought suki could be as evil as the faries were in the 1st book.... I can't recommend this book enough.... Roll on next year when Michelle Harrison will be releasing her next novel... FAB. - Enjoy !
