I thought I had read every Gary Paulson book but found this one I missed a few years ago. These animal, stories are amazing, and show, the true spirit of animals and that they deserve our care and respect.
Love Gary Paulsen's adult books. He tells a great story, can be hilariously funny and doesn't whitewash the realities of wild animals or living in nature. Each chapter tells its own story, but the book comes full circle. Listened to it while traveling which was a great choice. Just wish it was longer. Check out his "Angel Peterson" book or "My Life In Dog Years" - great for adults and Angel Peterson had us in stitches!
It’s not easy to find a book that my son likes reading specially when it’s recommended by the school. But this one he really enjoyed and finished in no time.
