Just wonderful as are all his books. I have read his Surrender Experiment 3 times and his "Untethered Soul" twice - unheard of for me! So I look forward to extracting as much meaningful "juice" out of this one. This is a man of deep wisdom, great humour, love and sincerity and he writes from that place within his heart.I recommend his work to all my friends and meditation students. Hope he writes another SOON as this one was written 40 years ago.
I am very skeptical when people rave about books, how good can they actually be? This book is a great descriptIon of the spiritual aspect of karma, love, and will power. I was able to readjust my thinking, based on looking at the Big Picture, rather than the narrow view. I have been semi-pessimistic and jaded for most of my life, and this book actually allowed me to see that there is a positive side to life. We are more than our bodies, we are eternal souls, that can actually enjoy this life we have. I have a deeper understanding of "life" now, and how to get more enjoyment from it. Once the light comes on, it's pretty simple. This book helped me turn on the light.
I see life in a new light after reading this book. Every page made sense to me and I clearly feel I understand the meaning of what was being explained, normally I get lost in psychology theories but not this time. The idea of cause and effect, karma, will, love and meditation is all things I have been interested in for years but felt I was always missing a piece of the learning. I feel like I have found the missing piece. I am extremely grateful. I recommend it to anyone who can keep an open mind and often wonders like I did, about free will and why we sometimes feel as if we remember things that never have happened to us, well in this lifetime anyways. Great read. Keeper book on the top of my shelf.
I love love love this book. I’ve read it at least 5 times and have given to friends and family to read. My only complaint is that it’s too short! I know it’s just essays, but it was so good I wanted to keep learning more. It was very easy to understand and to the point. One of my favorites.
