I am a huge fan of Tim Ferris and I really waited for this book to launch in India and the wait is worth it. if you really wanna learn about the mindset of successful people then you must read this.
This book not only tells you how to be successful by financial side but it tells you how to be rich in knowledge and health. you can see some personal recommendations by the persons who are at the top level in this field.
this book is different from all the other books, this book is not like you can read continuously in a week or so, this book contains podcasts summaries which you can read each day/week and it has sections divided in it. you can read something of where you are a lack in.
the best thing I love about this book that it contains personal book recommendation from the peoples whose podcasts are written there.
in the end, i just want to say definitely buy and read this book and trust me you gonna love it.

I loved this book. But this is not a book for you if you don't like learning from other people's mistakes. Its one of those books where you love the disclaimer, forward, index and 600 plus pages of everything.
In the disclaimer, Tim Ferris tells you to consult a common sense specialist and not to blindly follow the book. While many topics may be controversial and the advice borderline, what cannot be ignored is the unique nature of the book. There is 111 famous men and women in the book sharing their experience with health, wealth and wisdom.A good chance of standing on the shoulders of giants.
Must read if you have plans to make a billion or two(no harm dreaming)!

The book is a good primer into what Ferriss' podcasts would look like. I prefer his other books but this has an interesting and entertaining insight into his favorite celebrities.

Amazing. This book is a compilation of gems and jewels from iconic and world-class achievers.
There is soooo much wisdom to digest and absorb.
This book is the result of Tim Ferris Show podcast in which he interviews with ultra-successful figures. The material is divided in three section: Health, Wealth, and Happiness after Benjamin Franklin's famous quote:
Early to bed, early to rise, keeps a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
I strongly recommend this book to anyone. Not every page are gonna be useful o the everyone. This book, however, must be looked like a mountain of jewels from which you have to carve out the gems that resonate with you the most.
I am so happy to have read it. I feel like there is a huge weight (of wisdom) on my shoulders which compels me to actively engage with them, digest them, absorb them and incorporate them into my daily life.

Fantastic book. I've gifted many and everyone has appreciated. Only thing is that this time the book I've recieved is torn from the top, which is unfortunate. Amazon should take the seller to task.

Wow. Waited for this book for a long time till it was released in India. Then couldn't stop reading. It has so much rich nuggets from each of the Titans interviewed..their philosophy, books they recommend, what shaped their view of the world and whats works. I figured the best way to read this book is go to section or person I want to learn from(with Tim being the guide and sometimes one of the Titans). Then.. instead of reading the chapter end to end.... Take the detours.
I checked out summaries and descriptions of books mentioned on Amazon and Wikipedia as I read the text. Went and saw the sites of companies they started, music they listened to, practiced their daily routines.
At a meta level I learned to live life like an experimentor. This book shook me out from the need to seek one right workable answer.. That one great diet, one way to be a successful entrepreneur,..goes on. Instead there are so many ways.. Many times exactly opposite, but they work in certain context or for certain person. I developed a mindset to understand then see how an advice works for me in a situation. This alone is a huge gift for me.
Read the book as a 700+page portal into the lives and secrets of the Titans. Its not a how to book of the form.. 10 steps to be a multimillionaire. Rather its more like 50 ways you can create wealth.. And that's just one of the 3 sections. This book is lifetime resource and research aide

Folks, I'm an admirer of Tim Ferriss and listen to his podcast with interest and really admire his style of conducting his conversations with his guests. However while a podcast a radio program or perhaps even tv/video program is good format for the kind of content that Tim Ferriss and his guests cover, that certainly is not content worthy of a book - particularly if at the back of it the author does not hesitate to call himself a published author. I have lot of respect for Tim Ferriss as a result of his podcasts and content he's covered there, but just to take transcripts of those chats and publish as a book doesn't suit this otherwise worthy/intelligent man.

I have run my own business for 2 years. I have read hundreds of books, in that time, made loads of mistake, but thankfully grown to do well.
Had I had this book from the start, I would have been where I am now within a year, avoided half the mistakes and saved a lot of time. Really recommend to anyone who wants to gain a range of advice covering business, development and most importantly I think outlook on things.
Very good. If Tony Robbins was the King, Tim Ferriss has become a very able prince.

First Tim Ferris book that I’ve read and I’m honestly struggling to get into it. Very unstructured with him telling you go to page 344 for this and then page 522 to complete it. If you are into trying a new coffee mixed with 9 minutes of breathing techniques followed by stretches and mantras in the morning this is your book. Thought this book would be gold but it doesn’t let you delve into it enough when you find someone or chapter you like. It really is just highlights of the podcast. Also it is rather contradictive between people on what they do/opinions but I suppose it’s to let you compare and try for yourself.
Was looking forward to reading more about Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tony Robbins etc but it doesn’t go deep enough into it. Save your money and just focus on the podcasts involving such people that does interest you.
Gave up on this book half way through due to the nature of it. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Going to try the 4 hour Work Week as it’s his biggest title but surely can’t be worse than this book.

An essential tool for a better life.

This book was a revelation to me. I had never heard of Tim Ferriss before seeing this book pop up on my recommended list on audible and amazon. And then I kept seeing it! It intrigued me but also seemed like a commitment considering its length. After a little investigation into who this guy was however, I was swallowed down the rabbit hole and got sucked into his podcasts, blog and then finally this book.
Ferriss, along with his many companions, has helped me transform my life into a more enjoyable, healthy and productive experience. Before finding all this advice and guidance I was really stuck in a rut. This book, along with all the other resources he offers, helped me finally climb out of it.
Firstly, I should say I originally bought Tools of Titans as an audiobook. However, I quickly realised that if I wanted to get the most out of it, absorb the information and really retain it, then I would need to get the physical book. Obviously some people might be capable of doing this whilst listening (I only recently discovered the ‘bookmark’ button on Audible which would certainly have helped in this regard).
So, with my physical book in hand, I got stuck in to the first of all 674 pages. It may seem like a lot for a book with no through-line (other than self-improvement I suppose) but I found the key is to take it slowly, and read only a few chapters at a time. Take in what each interviewee is saying and consider it.
I also made notes and highlights as I read, which I highly recommend doing.
The interviews, in and of themselves, are not going to be life changing for the vast majority of readers, although every once and a while I did come across something I found particularly profound that stuck with me for days or even weeks.
But what you get from this book is a glimpse into the insights of the minds of people that have achieved so much and are on a path of success. From this I gathered a greater appreciation for the small, simple steps required to start that journey, and of the habits that need to be nurtured to continue it.
Also, this is a fantastic reference and baseline book for anyone who is trying to become better in productivity or self-improvement etc..
From this book alone I have discovered so many _other_ resources that have and will help me continue to improve, be it other books, or videos on youtube, podcasts, articles, movies, other people to follow and look into, and much more besides.
This isn’t a book you are going to love start to finish. There are definitely parts that didn’t apply to me what-so-ever. It will be the same for every reader unless you happen to have a very intriguing, eclectic lifestyle (good for you!). But as Ferriss himself says at the start, his goal for the book is for readers to like 50%, love 25% and never forget 10%. I think that for most readers, who start with an attitude of willingness and open-mindedness, this will be the case.

I would describe this as the best book I have ever read if asked for one sentence. That is perhaps harsh on Dickens et al, so perhaps I should narrow it down to best book I have ever read about how to live your life. Almost every page has an "ahah" moment. Countless anecdotes induced tears. Just stunning. Thank you; I am now one of the 1,000!
