About the Author

Rick Riordan, dubbed 'storyteller of the gods' by Publishers Weekly, is the author of five New York Times number-one bestselling book series with millions of copies sold throughout the world: Percy Jackson, the Heroes of Olympus and the Trials of Apollo, based on Greek and Roman mythology; the Kane Chronicles, based on Egyptian mythology; and Magnus Chase, based on Norse mythology. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Rick's first novel featuring the heroic young demigod, won the Red House Children's Book Award and - along with the sequel, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters - was a blockbuster film franchise starring Logan Lerman

Review

PRAISE FOR THE DARK PROPHECY

"Riordan sets a blistering pace for this book, making it hard to put down and even when the story takes a break from the action, there is some mystery to be revealed or dream to visit."―The Nerd Daily --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bad physical state of the book; awesome book
By Abhijeet Sadhu on 25 August 2020
Received the book in bad shape. Tons of pages are torn. At first I thought it was only one or two but to my utter shock and disappointment more than 20, perhaps 30, are in such condition.

Now about the book itself: Love the book, although I might just be a little biased towards Uncle Rick. He never fails to disappoint. Apollo's narrative is hilarious and oh, the arrow of dodona and the god awful haikus. Waiting eagerly for the next and last installment.
