I finished all three books in 3 days( not my best score but still)
If gave me goosebumps that actually hurt man...I absolutely loved it!!!

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first. I think it was being back in the dragon village and away from Will that did it because he had really grown on me in the first book and I wanted him and Jacinda to get their HEA.

Saying that though, I have to admit that Cassian grew on me in this one. He wasn't what she'd thought he was for so long so the love triangle aspect pulled me in various directions throughout the book until I think I can say that it didn't really matter to me who she chose in the end (though I tend to think; stick with the first one who sends your heart aflutter)

By the end Jacinda had made her mind up and I can admit that I was happier than if she'd picked the other guy.

Now onto book three to see how it all ends.

After reading Firelight, I was expecting more of the same in Vanish. However after a tense start with Jacinda, Tamra and Cassian returning to the Pride, Vanish then slowed down almost to a stop.

Most of the book is set in the Pride. Jacinda is no longer the only special draki and she experience what life was like for Tamra before they left. We also get more insight into Tamra which I enjoyed. Jacinda is very negative and a bit whingy in this book which was frustrating.

The last quarter of the book feels like you are leeding up to something big, but as I was anticiapting this I realised I was getting closer and closer to the end and there couldn't possibly be time for what I was expecting. As a result the book ends on a massive cliffhanger so I am hoping the next book in the series is a bit more fast paced.

If you enjoyed Firelight this is probably still worth reading - if only so you can read the third in the series.

Excellent book, can't wait for the last in the trilogy. Firelight, the first of the trilogy was the first time I had read a "dragon type" fantasy book, and Vanish lived up to expectations, I thoroughly enjoyed it - even though I am far older than a teenager, to which this book is aimed at. Well written and very descriptive, I was totally immersed in the storyline. If you read and loved Firelight, then you will enjoy the next part of Jacinda's story just as much, if not more.
