It's about a catapillar that becomes a cocoon.
A very different book with holes in the food that the catapillar has eaten. I think u enjoyed the creativity more than my Lil one who might have been too small for it. He did sit through the whole book putting his Lil finger in the holes.

I bought the same book for my daughter when she was a baby, and the book was bigger then, I could fit my finger in the holes to mimic the caterpillar - an important part of the storytelling. Can’t do it with this one, holes are minuscule.
Also, teething babies produce a lot of dribble. Even though I’ve rigorously cleaned the book, the pages have stuck together, and the print has damaged.
Shame it’s not of the quality it was all those years ago.
Regardless, and wonderful story thy infants enjoy time and time again.
