Dylan Thomas has truly said that - “A good poem is a contribution to reality. The world is never the same once a good poem has been added to it. A good poem helps to change the shape of the universe, helps to extend everyone’s knowledge of himself and the world around him."
The present book "Des Vu" is a genuine & true collection of poems where you will find the real beauty & pleasure of poetry.
According to me, the Author has tried to give us the real feel of poetry reading. She has penned down multiple layers of meanings in her poems.
All the poems are composed of new images and ideas. She has transformed the idea of life and reality in her poems. There are lots of poems which are the answers of our lots of incomplete questions of life.
The book also contains meaningful & beautiful illustrations. Some of my favourite poems are 'Selfie, Tales Untold, Shooting Star, Will You?' and many more.
Thus, suggesting this book to all of you. Happy Reading, Happy Learning.

Des Vu Kindle Edition
For a long time, poetry has been a personal thing for me, cathartic in its ability to lend voice to my thoughts. However there comes a time in every writer’s life when the need to have one’s work appreciated by others overcomes the reticence of their nature. With this book, I have reached the point where I can let you, the reader, enter. See me. Maybe some of the poems here will resonate with you, and that understanding, that secret “yes, I know what she means”, from a stranger, is what I seek.

The author Swapna Sanchita had written poems on different themes. I liked the most on the ones on love. Be it waiting for that one special person or letting go and looking forward or the pain of loss or just the exhilaration one feels when newly in love.As you guessed, my favorite poem isNew LoveTonight, you will talk...In questions that will mean nothingIn answers that you feel are everythingYou will hold on to every wordBreak it up into tiny iridescent piecesAnd roll it around in your palmBefore you build it up into the gem you wantPlay with them tonight,Tomorrow you will have no need of words. Tonight, you will give in...To the joy of revelling in the silliness of holding handsTo the excitement of possessing anotherYou will dance with practiced abandon Ensuring that what meets the eye must be beautiful And sway to the beats of exhilarationCarried away by the giddiness of new love Swing,Sauter to the songs tonightTomorrow you will not need the music to spin, to rise…These lines remind me of the times when one falls in love, or even when they hold their new born babies hand or the joy of meeting an old friend. Not that love withers away when it's old but the bond gets stronger and the foundation is set upon several incidents. But one cannot deny the first moments and their importance in life, the memories they imprint upon our minds forever.A great read and each one can connect to a different poem according to their mood and need. It speaks to one. It did to me.Check it out.

DES VU is beautifully written by Swapna Sanchita. This book is a certifiable and genuine assortment of poems where you will track down the genuine excellence and joy of verse. The book contains 42 poems. The creator has managed this poem at extraordinary speed. While perusing this poetry, you can begin to relate. From its prologue to its end, it never lets you get bored. The book isn't unreasonably large and has an outline on each page, which gives a brief look at the poem. The profound word "disturbance" and the wave of sentiments you feel from inside have been poured flawlessly into the book. Each verse implies and recounts an alternate story.
The raw narration and lucid language make the book appealing to everyone.I'm pretty sure that you will find the book relatable at one point or another.

Des Vu is a collection of 42 poems, each with a different theme and written in varying styles from rhyming to free flow.
Derived from French Dès Vu, Des Vu can be described as “seen from this point forward” —already remembering something as you’re living it or the awareness that this moment will become a memory. The poems themselves are like random musings of the poet or feelings & memories shaped in poems.
The book “Des Vu” is a collection of forty-two poems, a collection of poems on diverse themes and emotions like love, memories, self-doubt, happiness, misery, and much more. The first poem; Poetry asks you- “must poetry have a meaning” which makes you ponder and sets the tone for the rest of the book. The collection is not restricted to any particular writing style or theme but is like a free-flowing river of thoughts and emotions.
Most poems on memories resonated with me and surely resonate with you. The 42 poems are accompanied by some wonderful illustrations. These illustrations often provided a context to the poems and added a new dimension to the poem. Though all the poems were good, some like Poetry, Selfie (how we replaced memories with hashtags), Tales Untold, Yesterdays (memories of days gone by), Missing you, Similitude, Remembrance were my favorites.
Overall, Des Vu is a collection of beautifully crafted poems on varied topics and in some different writing styles. The poems capture a rainbow of emotions and I hope the readers savourr every verse. A great read for poetry lovers.

Most of us want to be kids who can enjoy endless stunts with fun and it's even good to be cry babies and just to sit in the mother’s lap and on dad’s shoulders. I love poetry since it has an aura that could present your mind in the never-ending and random thoughts in the same tile of the picture and it acts picturesque to help you decide either side of life.
One such soulful poetry I read recently is named “Des Vu” by Swapna Sanchita. This is a collection of poems that are of average length 1-2 pages each that are spilled over the many unfolds of life. The sadness, glo gloom jovial writer in you will find this poetry is soothing like a fresh breeze of monsoon. I felt all the emotions like soaking in rain and within that moment I found myself in extremely gloomy and agony. This poetry has touched the many unknown and unseen rooms of my heart. One of my favorite lines from a poem from this book is
Creating Prosody
As I go along,
I sing another song
About the rains
About the storms
I tell the same story
In many different ways
About what I see
About what I can be
These songs, these stories-
I call them poetry
I would suggest this poetry book fully for the magical words that are studded into the poems.

Des Vu by Author Swapna Sanchita is a super short read. Poems are close to my heart. They have the capability of express immense emotions in only small bundles of verses or words. A very short read anyone can finish it on one or two sitting.
This book is not only a collection if poems bit few write ups as well. Starting from the very cover art I truly found the minimalistic design calming and beautiful.
I simply find this book connecting to my heart and whispers me reminiscences of the gone days and my own hopes and desires at some place. I think poem lovers should definitely check this book out. They will find it beautiful and heart warming.

Lovely collection of poems!

I love reading poetry that is real and heartfelt, where the poet doesn't have to stretch to find the right rhymes or rhythms -- where it's free-flowing and natural, rhyming or not. Sapna Sanchita has managed to do exactly that with her poetry. It's fresh and real, thought-provoking and smile-invoking. For example:
Praying:
It's easier to breathe
When the mind is dulled
Intoxicated
Watered down
When my heart no longer beats
I'm falling apart
Breaking into pieces
And praying
In spite of never knowing God
I highly recommend Des Vu to anyone who enjoys poetry! 5 Stars from me!

These poems are evocative and thought provoking, and many of them really speak out to you. This is one to read and re-read, and is going to be on my night stand for a very long time if I can get the physical copy! So far, seems to
be on kindle alone.
Some excerpts:
If we were all just stories we told
What tales would you be....
Or
Some half imagined truths
Some forgotten lies
Memories don’t soothe
Too much that we contrive...
Or
Swing, saunter to the music tonight
Tomorrow you will not need the music to spin, to rise...

A little gem. This collection of poems will strike a chord with you every time you pick it up and read (and re-read ) . Phrases and little snippets of lines, stay with you and come back to you, which is what the best poems do to you . There are times when you will marvel at how the poet nailed something you felt, in just the right words and there are times when they will startle you with what they stirred in you. Refreshing in the directness with which they approach the multi-layered nuances of everyday living ,yet leaving you with a sense of depth and wonder. This one is a keeper.
