Great for families with a baby on the way!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 December 2010Verified Purchase
A picture book based on the new arrival of Pip the Penguin's new baby brother. Pip goes through many feelngs that expectant brothers and sisters feel when a new baby is on the way (ie. I don't care about it; I can't see why everyone is fussing and then, upon his arrival, happiness and joy to be a big sister). My older daughter relates to this book and was surprisingly hooked into it and it held her attention, even though she has not yet reached three years of age. The illustrations are very crisp and clear and the limited use of colours helps to support the unique setting of this story. A definite winner with my daughter!

Loving the Little Pip series
Reviewed in the United States on 13 October 2020Verified Purchase
Purchased three books in the Little Pip series and enjoying all of them. Very nice messages for little children. Had to return What's in the Egg, Little Pip due to a page that had been incorrectly cut and marked as so that still got placed into the book at the binding stage. Received the replacement promptly and all is in order.

Just right for children expecting a sibling. My son enjoyed the book. He followed through to the end. Great read!
