The book is nice but seems to mismanaged or seems stuffed with information. Pictures and text are overlapped and not apealing to eyes. It's not worth the price I think.

What's Inside a Flower? Book ... It Is a Work of Art

I got this book because I loved the artwork. I have a science background and looked through it, and found that it was sufficiently informative about the biology of flowers, it's not just a book of great artwork, it's very informative, and it truly has eye-candy illustrations throughout the entire book. Easy for adults to comprehend, moderate difficulty for younger school children; there's actually a lot of information packed in that beautiful book.

Both a story book and an informational book!

One of the best books on plants and flowers! I love the style of this book! It's both a picture book to read to your kids, and a book for them to sit and search through. Most books are done or the other. And I really enjoy that this is both! So much information, such beautiful pictures and colors. I am just thrilled to add this book to our library!

Love the illustration but..

I love Rachel’s illustration and owns 3 of her books. The Women in science, the earth one and the women artists one. This one has a design defect which is the book cover, a piece of paper that covers the book is very unnecessary. Especially if it’s for kids it will either get tare and ware fast or just losing it. And it’s not easy to hold the book that it keeps slip out of the cover. Why can’t they emboss the metallic on the hard cover itself like others? Second is the paper. The weight is way lighter than the other ones which makes it seem cheap and not durable. The nice illustration worths higher quality paper. The choice of the book cover and the paper is very disappointing.
