5.0 out of 5 stars Anyone can pick this self-help book.
By ifathwrites on 30 September 2020
What’s the sunshine of your life? by Rakesh Deshpande is basically a self help book which contains tons of tips including relationship advice, parenting tips, motivational stories with proper link to every consecutive chapter corresponding to it’s previous one.

The book’s chronology resembles that of a child’s growth; and the questions one shall ask themselves and ponder over right from their childhood- like was my childhood a paradise or a paradox? to the a really grown-up man asking himself that Am I rich? Via many lessons and questions in between like exploring what’s best for himself/herself and how to love their family?

Every chapter starts with a bunch of questions and ends up with a tiny link to the another topic to be discussed in the next chapter and itself containing an exemplary story from either the author’s own life or from any of his known people’s life. These stories particularly brought life to the book. Questions to ponder over were initially interesting but as I headed onto succeeding chapter I began skipping them as a matter of fact that I already knew the topic from the previous chapter. The plus point is that one can pick this book and can start over any topic in between and still can get the motive of the book; so when reader has already read this book once and has been struck in any situation in life similar to the one’s described in the book, he/she can simply open that particular topic and learn about the tactics to handle that particular situation in his/her life.

✨Title of the book is relevant.
✨Book cover could have been better.
✨Storyline is continuous.
✨Language is lucid.
✨Literally anyone with basic language skills can pick up this and gain it’s motive.
✨Overall it’s a 5 star read for me.
✨Recommended for people who would be interested in self-help books entangled with stories in between.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good one:)
By Vanita Bassi on 28 June 2021
This is a nice self help book that can question or change your perspective of looking at things and will question your whole existence, motive behind your existence. It is not at all boring because it is mixed with fiction. Everything is explained in an interesting manner with the help of stories and examples that will help you understand and reflect things in a nicer way. The best part is that author has mentioned that you may or may not agree with his ideas and beliefs and nothing is written in imposable manner. Language is lucid and can be understood by anyone. It is a good pick for self help lovers. It will also guide you in real life situations and how to handle them including your friendships, relationships, career and family. The title is apt but cover could have been better. Chapter headings are very intriguing and relevant.Overall, a nice and impactful read. You can go with this one if you are looking for an impactful and reflecting read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Friends, relationship and success!
By Neha Agri on 29 June 2021
✨Your life is a sunshine for someone else. Someone else will be your sunshine later and this cycle will always continue forever.✨

Do you ever get to a point when you are compelled to question your existence, when you ask yourself "am I worthy"? There comes a point in everyone's life when self doubt tries to pin us down. What do you do then? How do you put yourself together and stand to fight these negative thoughts?

I must say, contemporary Indian Authors are writing some really helpful books and personally I am liking these more than some best seller self help books written by foreign writers.

"What's the sunshine of your life?" - This book will help you rethink about your approach towards life, relationships, positivity in life and provide you the motivation during the worst days of your life. The book talks about childhood, friends, maturity, relationships, success and failure and what not!

If you want to have a meaningful read with a cuppa tea, this could be the best pick!
