Talking about her book "WISE AND OTHERWISE" there are no words that i can think of to praise her book...but i can certainly say that it will definitely make you think about those who are not as blessed as most us are reading this review. It will give you an opportunity to know more about the "real India". And most importantly this book is based on her personal experiences and not fiction. There are so many instances in the book which make your heart ache....I recommend this book for each and every Indian who wants to know more about the real state of India...
Her free flowing prose, idealistic, inspiring thoughts and personal experience makes the book unputdownable.
I was not aware of her writings, but this book has certainly made me to read more from her.

If you like short stories, this book has about 40 (3-5 pages max each) or if you wish to enter the world of reading books, go for this one.
Availed this during a discount for 130. Delivery was quick as always (thanks amazon)
Oh and thisis not her best; that would be her Three Thousand Stitches book. That's a MUST READ.
Hit thumbs up if you like this review..
While writing a review of your stories ,I thought of writing separately on each story .
In a nutshell ,I would say that your stories out of your personal experiences with our society are just beautiful .
Keep writing and inspire others by your books and by your benevolence .
With warm regards
Sudha Madam's books are balms to the rising diseases in the world: passionate money making, ego, ignorance, laziness, bluffing, neglect of elderly, atrocities towards women, not following simple civilized rules of life, callousness towards the hapless state of the world, not respecting the goodness, forgetting our history, torturing wife for dowry, and others.
If one reads Sudha madam's books, one will never forget his/her basic temperament: to be human.
I request Sudha Madam and Penguin books to publish her books in other Indian languages, preferably telugu (for my mother). Though I can narrate the stories to her, I feel that if this effort is taken care of, it can reach millions of people.

I look forward to similar books which are light and strengthen our moral attitude in life.
