5.0 out of 5 stars Must buy
By Aradhana on 15 October 2019
Completed WICTY today...and glad that I was one of those who pre ordered. It was worth buying. This time the genre was also different. Unlike other love stories where girl and boy meet each other and fall in love this time the situation bounded the girl to fall in love it clearly depicts how love can change someone. This was really a roller coaster for both of the protagonist. I felt very sad that they could not confessed it with holding each other but I wish that durjoy sir make the sequel of this book as soon as possible... really loved this one this was worth reading all the plots and the way he wrote one suspense after another. There was no point in the book where I felt it not to be interesting...damn this book was lit❤️❤️❤️The title of the novel also justifies it. Eagerly waiting for it's sequel. Also at some places it clearly made me feel that the writer is playing a parent role in real life 🥰❤️

I read it within 6 hours and let me tell u how it played with my emotions, made me scream with joy and frustation alike, melted my heart into a puddle and also made me cry for the characters! A beautifully written story, never disappoints u. Being a die hard romantic,i can totally say that this has got all the elements a romantic wants in a book, which i guess every book by Durjoy sir has! 5.0 out of 5 stars A romance that comes with its own mysteries and twists
By Sankalpita Singh on 8 November 2019
What to expect?

Expect a book that has romance at its very core but one that has a lot more to offer than just a regular cliché romance. The book narrates a powerful story in a simple language and is packed with intense emotions, strong characters, highly unexpected twists and an underwhelming but beautiful romance.

Who can read?

Wish I Could Tell You makes use of a language that is simple and fluid and hence the book can be easily picked up by a beginner level reader.

What did I like?

I love the mystery and intrigue that the book creates around its characters. I also love how suddenly the plot takes a completely different twist right in the middle of the book. A good part of the book creates this certain idea of the story and tricks the reader into complacency (the-I-have-already-figured-this-out-kind-of-confidence). And BOOM! right in the middle of the book everything changes and the reader is left stunned and shocked at the brilliance of it.

What did I not like?

Despite much efforts (I am sure) a few editing errors manage to find their way into the book. However, they aren’t so many as to glaringly stare you in the face but only a few that might be noticeable if you have a keen eye.

In the end

In the end, Wish I Could Tell You is a book that never fails to impress. It is a power-packed story told in beautiful words that will make you want to believe in the power of love; that will make you want to experience love. With every single page managing to hold the reader’s attention, it is surely one amazing read.

The final verdict - Definitely go for it!

Pick it up if

You are looking for an unconventional and subtle romance.
You are a Durjoy Datta fan.
You are looking for a simple yet powerful story.
You enjoy romances that come with their own mysteries and twists.
You want your faith in love to be restored.

Skip it

Only if you don’t enjoy romance reads.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must read—swallows you heart & soul.
By Nomita Khanna - Author on 9 October 2019
A must read book that tugs at your heartstrings! While reading it, the thought ‘wish I could tell everyone how much I am loving it’ popped in my mind. So, here I am. I zoomed through the novel as it relates so well to the world we live in today. Reading it was like a master class by a master storyteller.

Without revealing too much, I would say the book swallows you heart and soul with its silent pleas. Anushka’s heartbreak, the gut-wrenching sorrow of those in need, everyday heroes & heroines who work tirelessly for the greater good—every bit in the book grabs you with its intriguing intensity. Must buy!
