This book is again a master piece from Mr. Norman Lewis.
A must read book for all . (even you are student or not )
This book is very essential for laying down
a foundation stone for your vocabulary building.
I come from a hindi medium schooling but this book gave me confidence in vocabulary development.

Despondent over the quality of book

I haven't read it yet but who would actually have any keenness left after seeing the quality of pages. If your paying for the full book why only half white quality pages while the other half are yellow very low quality dusky paper used which will in no time get ripped off easily. Disappointed!

What I love about this book is it's arrangements of chapters and step-by- step method which really help to learn new words and uses of the words perfectly.
Overall I love this book and recommend to all who wants to improve their English Vocabulary.

Hi friends i bought this book for learning and improving my english. According to my opinion this the best book for learning english and for gaining more and more knowledge of english language.In this book the explaination of every topic in the whole book is so good and easy to read and learn and also for studying and other purpose.my friends like this book so much and was appreciating of this book. I will defenitely suggest you to buy and read this book. I like that all the exercises and riddles given in the book is so good and easy to learn and all the lesson is placed accurately.But i've just one complain that the quality of the pages of the book is so poor not so good as i wish.Last few pages are not good that you can see in the picture. Publicationof the book(GOYAL PUBLICATION) is good publication.This publication also provide more good books you can buy it by the post given with this book.All over this book deserve 5 star according to my opinion.(please ignore grammeratical mistakes coz i am learner.)😊😊😊👍👍👍👍

I bought this to improve my vocabulary, initially, there are some tests on your English skills which are essential for your progress. Please read/ practice this book for 1 month and see the difference in your vocabulary.

Excellent book for all sorts of age groups for improving English. The meanings of new words are so succinctly presented and comes with phonetics so that you learn pronunciation too. There are fun exercises at the end of every topic which facilitates quick revision.
The book was in excellent quality and moderately priced. If you're lucky you'll get a bookmark too.

The book is excellent for the beginners who wish to improve their English vocabulary or plan to give GRE/TOEFL/Civils exams. The first page of the book was not printed properly. Given the pricing of the book, that's Ok.

This book has been amazing. Right from the time I chanced upon this book 20+ years ago during my bachelors, this book has been so helpful in honing my english skills.If you are prepping for SAT, GMAT, CAT and similar exams, or if you just want to be improving you language skills, this book will be your best companion. The only pain point is the size of the print (font) and the quality of the paper, but that's not a absolute dealbreaker, keeping in mind the price of the book. I got a new edition (much improved) for my kid and she loves this book too ! (Many quizzes and tests to challenge you).

This book is fantastic book for the one who wants to improve his/her vocabulary. Writer has described it in a very easy and effective way. Once you start reading the chapter, you can't leave it unread. Because this explains everything about the words.

Fabulous book but you need to give time and practice to improve your English speaking ability. It's not a book to simply mugging up hoping to improve your English.
