Although the package was handled carelessly, i don't have any complaints. The content is worth much more. I'd recommend it to the people who want to get strong, putting your weak self behind and want to leave their cocoon and evolve to something much more than they already are.

However, this takes nothing away from Ross himself, who is obviously a VERY knowledgeable/fit/likable individual! If you have no fitness knowledge at all you'll learn lots, but if you do have prior knowledge, and you know your aerobic from your anaerobic, and you know your 'law of progressive overload' definitions, etc, you'll probably come away disappointed, and like me, regret the purchase.
The method created by Ross is so simple and easy to understand that it motivates the reader to explore their own physical challenges.
I expect the book to be around for a long time as it can be used for reference for almost every aspect of physical progression.
If you’re looking to improve your physical fitness and don’t know where to start or are confused with all the different terminologies in the fitness industry - this book is the one for you. It’s simple, straight to the point facts backed up with evidence and mixed with humour and motivation. What more could you ever want from a fitness book.
Its not inspired me 15% of the book had some helpful parts to it for me a person trying to get fit have to gleam these from the rest. Lots of storeys, but they didn't inspire.
In my opinion there are few sports that wouldn't benefit from the training principles laid out in this book!
If you are serious about getting fit, whether it's gaining muscle, a faster marathon time, being more well-rounded then this is the book for you. I would advise some caution, however - there is a section about a workout you can do around the world, anywhere, any time - some of these workouts require equipment so keep that in mind.
Genuinely couldn't recommend this book enough - even if you aren't into your fitness it is an incredible story by an incredible human being on a fascinating journey. I would read again just to read about the people Ross has met and what he has learned from them.
The rest is then divided into sections providing programs and explanations of what excercises to do, when to do them, how to supplement them with the right foods etc, and for what purpose they serve.
Dependent on what you’re looking for, this book provides 2x20 week programs which alter in 4 week cycles, and 1x12 week program which can be utilised anywhere and everywhere!
Highly recommend this book!! Believe the hype!
I studied sports and fitness in high school, did triathlon and weight training to a club standard, and there are definitely valuable lessons in here that I hadnt learned before.
I've shared this with close friends who share similar fitness interests, all have since recommended to their friends (and so on). Easily digestable for all types of fitness-goers; whether it be novice or expert, there's something to be learned!
Well written and informative, great work
