Not only is this book beautifully written with wonderful illustrations, it is factually accurate:. For example, parrotfish do eat algae, young turtles do hide in seaweed rafts. As a volunteer with a turtle nesting and protection program, I read this book with a critical eye. It was consistently correct. Kudos to Lynne Cox for researching her subject and creating an inspiring story for children and adults.
