Yes. Actually the manual is very good with lots of pictures. Many parts to assemble together, initially seems cumbersome but easy to figure it out.

Asteroids are very small and are found usually between mars and jupiter in a belt. Searching for new asteroids can be done only through very large scientific telescopes. You better start working in NASA or ESA.

You need to be clear what motor does , for ct 130 its just a motor which moves with constant rotation speed .. It may not be of much help ifbyour expectation is to auto lock the object and track .. It does not do such advance task
