This product is meant to capture the HDMI output from a DSLR or Mirrorless camera ( which have HDMI out ) to your computer. Compatible cameras can be used as webcams and this means you'll be able to get much higher quality of video for your broadcast of you're a streamer or broadcaster.
For iPad you might still be able to use this to capture your iPad screen, but you'll need to buy a Apple usb-c to hdmi adapter, and then connect one end of hdmi to the adapter and one end to this. Then connect this to your pc/ laptop . see less

Yes, but you'll need to do a few things to get clean HDMI since canon doesn't support clean HDMI out. Google "canon clean HDMI " for more information

Yes! But Canon 200D doesn't have a clean HDMI output natively, which means you'll have overlays of settings (iso/WB or such settings) in your HDMI capture.

Both at once ? I guess not, atleast not with just one CamLink as it has only 1 HDMI input! You'll need two of these CamLink if you want to use two cameras capturing simultaneously

Most probably since you connect only hdmi input into cam link it doesn't matter which camera you use .
