I must preface by saying I rarely write reviews. This book makes me want to shout about it from the rooftops. It's grear for understanding the underlying mechanics of diabetes type 2. Energy storage, consumption, hormonal functions of the human body, how our food affects us - all of that is in here.
Get this if you want to beat diabetes, prevent it or even to understand it. It's a great read for people who want to take care of their bodies - even if they aren't interested in diabetes especially.
