Oasis in the desert and other stories is a book of 9 short stories written by Arushi Vats. The tales portray different emotions and circumstances, with each and every story. The most salient feature when writing a short story is the connectivity between reader and an author. I appreciate the fact that the emotion in the story connects.
The cover of the book is pretty decent and the title makes sense after reading the book. The language used in the book is comprehensible and the writing style is straightforward and easy. Every story has an engaging plot depicting every emotion very clearly.
All the characters in the book are very well portrayed, I loved how they're relatable. The ending at some points is a bit confusing, but over all the narration seems very intelligible. This is a perfect read for people who love to read and experience short stories with some morale in it.
Every story brings out the small detail about life which people ignore. Moving on with life people forget about the emotions of their first love, hope, heartbreak. My personal favourite story is "Real touch". This is recommended to all short stories lovers.
