Isaacson has done a brilliant job in condensing over 250 years of evolution of the technology industry into about 500 pages. It's informative and inspiring in equal measures. It's so well researched and readable that audience from across age groups, disciplines, cultures, and ideologies would immensely benefit. Knowing the bits and pieces of the tech industry and once you read this not only your knowledge gaps are filled, but also you tend to view innovation a whole lot differently. Bottom line: Innovation happens at the intersection of humanities and science, and it's a team sport.
