I found it more like a wellness blog. I bought this book after coming across the IKIGAI venn diagram shared in an online session about life's purpose. The diagram explores 4 vocational elements namely what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs and what can be paid for. The idea is to choose a career that qualifies on these 4 elements. I bought the book to explore more about this concept. But the book is not about the diagram, it is about general principles of a happy and long life that are practiced in a small town Okinawa in Japan. It is a good read but my expectation were a lot more. I later did some search and came across this link that says the the creator of the diagram is not even a Japanese and had only listened to a ted talk about IKIGAI. This is a weird world. Anyway, can't discredit the book, it is a good read but know that it is not about the diagram that helps you choose a right career.
