It was a very intriguing book. Although not one of my favourites I liked the story. A lot of this book gave readers crucial information about the secret organisation, V F D. It also let readers know that the Baudelaires would never see their parents again. It is highly recommended that readers should read not only this book but the entire adventurous series.
