I have purchased 5 TB HDD .Transfer rate is good Iam using this for my Mac 15 inch But while using this ,It is generating too much of heat where we can boil eggs seriously i have been using from week time . Dont know how much this HDD will work
Actually i am seagate user from last 12 years i never faced this issue. may this is because of heavy size(5TB) and very portable where we can carry in pocket
