This is a collection of poignant, real-world, no fluff included stories for young adults, that I could connect to very well. These stories tug at the very core of the human heart and bring to the fore all the feelings and untold thoughts that often lay buried deep within us. A boy who has an embarrassing health issue, a young teen, Shamoli who's raped by her maternal uncle, two dwarfed, ugly sisters who have a pretty, fair and lovely younger sister...these stories are fearless attempts to unravel the angst, odds and pain of being different. A must-read for teens and adults alike. Congratulations to both the writer and editor Paro ma'am and Sudeshna, respectively for bringing out such a bold and beautiful collection. I have lots to learn from this book as I've contemplated writing a YA book on a very bold theme myself, for a long time
