"My friend is a sociopath" by Saheb Sardar is divided into two short stories. Our innocent hero Avhi has a rebellious side, which often puts him into unwanted situations, such as discovering a corpse in the middle of the forest.
In both stories, there is a crime, which seems to have no connection. The shift between Avi's two sides was confusing at first, but it became clearer with progress. The author took a beautiful example of how society mentally tortures someone, forcing them to do unimaginable things.
I liked the more detail in the first story. The idea behind it and the cover of the book have something in common with a movie. I could have enjoyed it more if I hadn't seen the movie.
The book is only 83 pages long. The author has done great work in these few pages. If you haven't seen the movie, then you are definitely going to like it.
