I picked up this book as it’s been long since I picked up a romance genre book and the cover looked catchy. I will briefly summarise the blurb. The book started in Bareilly 2009. One of the protagonist of the story is Tarun. Tarun woke up with a loud noise. As usual, his father was abusing and beating his mother. He is alcoholic and he almost grew up seeing that scene daily. No one from neighbourhood except Aditi supported him. That one day he beat up Aditi too. The next chapter is after several years. Another protagonist of the story is Neha. They were in Shimala with Gaurav And Ritu. Gaurav introduced Neha and Tarun. Because of her own traumatic past, Neha almost burst out on Ritu. Ritu had her own nightmares. Her parents died in car accident and she grew up without them. Neha is unable to trust any boys because when she was fourteen, her brother Manish’s friend Rajeev raped her. Destiny brought them together but will they both be able to look past their traumas. Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked the concept. It’s light yet impactful read. Author has described all the scenarios too realistically. The narration style of the author is captivating. I liked when Tarun stood up for Neha protecting her from bully. That shows his character development. Overall good one. I enjoyed reading it.
