Andaleeb has written this series spanning across multiple relationships. Her ability to create fictional characters that stick with you and make you wonder about all your past relationships is remarkable. This book sees an almost reunion of all her characters from the past, much like a Barjatya movie :), but without the fakeness. It seems natural and a given.

Andaleeb's heroes are mostly supportive men (that itself should make this fiction!), women firebrands in their very conventional, normal lives. She isn't out there espousing radical characters with radical life decisions- these stories could very well be yours and mine. Aditi and Sandeep's story rekindles lost love and is a very mature love story. Her feelings towards Sandeep and the distancing is very real, his goodness is a little stretched, but I'm biased.

What I'd have loved to see more of: The reason behind Sandeep distancing himself from Aditi could have been explored more, Suhas and Natasha seemed like props and wonder if they could've done more. Natasha's inlaws seem too progressive for reality ;)
