Ashwin Sanghi's latest The Sialkot Saga is another bestseller in the making. I finished the 584 pages book in 2 days flat. Like his previous ones, Sanghi has again blended history and contemporary and weaven a tale which is gripping and edgy. The plot revolves around the intertwined lives of Arbaaz Khan and Arvind Bagadia and how their fate is sealed by a piece of secret from history tracing back to the times of King Ashoka. The narration is fast paced with multi-layered sub plots tracing the lives of the characters simultaneously associating/tying them with major events in the history of India. This is a story about faith and fate, about black and white, about love and betrayal and about humankind at large. This book is definitely one of the best from Sanghi. I would say, it is just unputdownable!
