It has a full metal body. It is a bit heavy. My municipality water has very high pressure. All my fittings develop leak in 1-3 months so I wasn't sure whether this sprayer can handle the pressure. I used it two times so far and it has with withstand the pressure. The trigger spring is hard and needs pressure to squeeze. My mother couldn't do it. I was able to spray 15 feet far with good pressure. Do keep in mind that long pipe slows the pressure a bit. There is a rotating knob in front that changes water pattern from straight line to garden spray.
