I wouldn't lie, the only reason I picked up this book was because its protagonist has a mental illness. I was slightly disappointed with the overall representation of schizophrenia, but there were some parts that seemed okay. The way the ending part was done seemed very sudden. I understand that quote-unquote climaxes are supposed to be quick and sudden, but I feel like we weren't given much time to process all the, you know, "reality". I guess I was expecting a little too much from this book. I wouldn't say that it's a bad read and no one should read it. Read it, but do not go in with very high expectations.
