Casey McQuiston has done an incredible job writing this book. I fell in love with Alex and Henry as they fell in love with each other, slowly and then all together. I loved them when they met at the royal wedding; I loved them when they fell on $75,00 cake; I loved them during the Turkey calamity and I completely adored them when they first kissed in the Kennedy Garden. This book is a perfect read, filled with humor, opinions, family, friendship, leadership, and indomitable love. What happens when the first son of the United States falls in love with the Prince of England? Alex, who wants to be the youngest congressional representative in the history of the United States, and Henry, the apparent heir to the throne of England, met each other first time in the Rio Olympics. Alex is full of hope and energy and has a family who accepts him the way he is, but the royal family expects Henry to hide the fact that he is very much gay.
