Originally ordered a new Kindle, it worked fine but the battery lasted only 15 hours so returned it. The replacement is a "refurbrished" product and does not work as expected either as the using the search feature hangs the entire device. Amazon's reply verbatim is "Since we can not sell them as new, we name them as refurbish." Don't buy from the India website, get someone from the US or other countries to get it for you. Amazon is just dumping every other country's reject stock in India.
