I was excited beyond imagination for this book. Amazon took a pretty long time to deliver it and I was beyond endurance to get my hands on this literature. Honestly, I knew this book dealt with death and something sad, however, the amount of grieving surged past sympathy and I was feeling irritated with the unnecessary tittle-tattle. I do understand how hard it would be for anyone to deal with the death of a significant other, especially, when one is battling with a mental illness prior to such a mishap, but it somehow went beyond me. However, I really started to like this novel post 150+ pages, the story started to develop, the dynamics of the characters started to arise and I understood that there's more to these young 17 year old boys rather than death-sadness-death-tears; a reason why I gave it a 3/5 and not 1.5 or 2.
