Don't buy this product. Instead buy calcium supplements or give natural foods rich in calcium. It is neither soft nor very hard. My 3 months old rottweiler swallowed it after breaking the bone into 2 pieces. It worked hard to poop the next day and the bone was in the same shape(like a typical natraj rubber). Dont take chances. It is waste of money.
