The book tells you the story of three people. Alara, an aspiring singer and writer who wish to meet her mother some day, who was also a renowned singer herself. Then there is Aarav, a stand-up comedian who wish to build his own platform and career. Ricky, a former guitarist who was part of Alara's mother Elisha's troop. The trio tries to find the truth behind Elisha's disappearance after being married to Alara's father.
The book has its moments at places but it has a lot to make up if it has to be compared to the author's first book "On The Open Road'. The characters, especially the three mains have been etched very deeply. The story seemed to be well paced and the writing is perfect for a vacation read.
Overall, the book is a well sorted work from the author even though the first book still stands tall. Still the book won't disappoint you. Go for it.
