To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is a charming book, a lovely story and something I really wanted to own a copy of. As there is such a long delivery I thought 'ohh kindle' but am so disappointed, this book has not been formatted at all for kindle. Pages that need to be viewed side by side aren't, there are no options to change font or layout and it is quite unreadable in kindle format. Honestly, I was thrown off by the poor order and hard to read font, there is no way that I could read this with a child. This is so disappointing, clearly just a money making opportunity to have a kindle edition and I am very sorry I wasted my money and even more sorry that I can't now share this story at this very difficult time.
We bought this to make talking about a death in the family easier for our kids to understand. This does not even reference it and thoroughly beats around the bush. Look elsewhere if you want to have a more serious discussion about what life (and death) means within our society.
