This book was HORRIBLE, don't wast your time. I can't believe this is even by Loretta Chase, it's just not even in the same universe as Lord Perfect, Dukes Prefer Blondes, or Not Quite a Lady.

This book is written in simplistic, passive language and has nothing going on in it other than shallow dialogue. There is no action and no theme, which means there is no scaffold - no bones to hold up the story. This book does not have a single redeeming quality.

I just can't even believe Loretta Chase wrote this book. I could go on and on about what a great story Lord Perfect is and how well it's written. Lord Perfect is up there in the stratosphere of the greatest books ever written, romance or not, and I Just. Can't. Even. that Isabella was written by the same author who wrote Lord Perfect.
