This book is what it is meant for, Twitch the cooking part of a child's brain. Clear and easy recipes with pictured instructions. All recipes are non-Indian and definitely need to roam around to find most of the ingredients.

I ordered a new copy as a gift, what was delivered was a heavily used and soiled copy. Because this was a gift, it is impossible for me to exchange it or ask for refund. Very frustrating and embarrassing!
This book is for everyone, not just kids. The layout is simple, informative and everything you need to know from grams/ounces (great), oven temperatures, the name of different tools & utensils and what to use them for. The recipes are clear and explains how to cook scrambled eggs for breakfast through to a main meal along with simple lunches, snacks, cakes, biscuits, finger food, toasties and tarts. I bought two of these books as Christmas gifts. One for my 10 year old grandson who likes to 'dabble' in the kitchen and one for my 16 year old grandaughter. I'm sure they will love this book and find plenty of projects that they will easily be able to cook for themselves and mum & dad. The pages are colourful and the explanation at every step is brilliant!
Bought this for my grand daughters 11th birthday. A really good, very descriptive and easy to follow cook book. The weights are given in both grams and ounces, (which is very helpful for those of us who still work to the imperial system). Also has good tips on how to prepare and cook vegetables in different ways, which you don't find in some other childrens recipe books. Highly recommend this cook book.
This is brilliant, colourful, exciting first time cook book. It’s a good large size so can be propped up to follow written instructions, following pictures if not up for reading too well. I bought it for a dad and his 5 year old. He said he can’t cook but I thought fruit kebabs were not beyond him. So his daughter showed him how. I would recommend this book for fun times together in the kitchen.
A wonderfully clear, interesting, varied children’s cookbook. Full of visual instruction as well as clearly written recipes. Brightly illustrated step by step guide to creative food. A fabulous present for our 9 year old niece.
