Overall, I found "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" to be a moving and thought-provoking novel that explores some of life's deepest questions. Albom's exploration of interconnectedness, forgiveness, and the afterlife is both profound and beautifully written, and his characters are complex and deeply human. This is a book that I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a powerful and uplifting read that will stay with them long after they have turned the final page.

Missed the mark for me

I expected so much from this book, not that there's anything wrong with it. This is a personal opinion and experience, but there were no Ah-ha moments for me and it didn't catch my interest as much. Probably because I read a lot of spiritual books lately and this one ended up feeling very basic to me. But it's not bad either, it could be amazing for another person. This is just my personal experience.

The book has a great concept and that is what made me buy it. Not to mention the author's previous book "For One more day" which swept me completely. The book has some good lines, my favourite one being "All endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at that time...".

But the book lacks the emotional connect a reader can feel with the character. The book lacks depth and focusses more on building a fact based storyline.

Could have been written in a much better way. Sorry, but my expectations from Mitch have risen very high :)

The book is beyond words...it's well written, engaging, poignant and what not. But the paper quality was absolutely inferior.

Yellow paper that smells wasn't something I expected to get.

This really hampered my reading experience.

How some of his life unexplained things and misunderstandings get cleared in heaven when he meets five different people of his life. One time read to get one different expect of life.
