To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I would like to change this review to a 5 star but need to receive all of my books before that can happen. I ordered 7 books and received 6. Please send the remaining book that was paid for so I can change my stars to 5 since this is a good quality book.
I have no doubt that the author means well, but after doing a bit of digging it seems that she never had to live in two homes as a child. So she really has no idea what it is like, but I do. So I can talk about the experience with actual knowledge of how it works, not theoretical knowledge of how adults want it to work. Like other books in this genre, "Two Homes" is euphemistic propaganda that will ease the consciences of adults who are making their children do something they would never do--live in two homes. Thus, it promotes a double standard.
