To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This book isn't a story, more a collection of observations about the winter, it's mainly about snow. Which is useful to know if you live in a country without snow, as it's less relevant. The pictures are partially urban. I got it to use for forest school kids as I imagined it would be more nature based and broad than it is.
We love Kenard Pan’s seasonal books he began working on with Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn. The colors are vivid and his illustrations are stunning. The simple descriptions of winter and early spring are perfect for preschoolers on up. As an adult I love picture books, but I will only buy and read quality literature to my children. This series fits my standards. We can’t wait to purchase the last installment, Goodbye Spring, Hello Summer, when it’s published in the future.
