To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
As with all the PMP French books, this is an excellent addition to your library. It covers a bit of everything in relation to how sentences are constructed, with 20 chapters in all. Again like all these books, it benefits from being revisited after you've read a few others, as it helps to put things into context more that way.
There are usually 10-15 exercises per chapter, each with 6-10 questions, so there's plenty of opportunity to practice what you've learned.
McGraw Hill are normally associated with decent quality books but now seem quite content to damage such a reputation: my copy had a chunk of pages that were reversed and upside-down! McGraw must have sent the print quality control guys home or, more likely, made them redundant. Only profit matters these days.
It's good to find a different way of improving my french. The notes on grammar are a bit intense. However, reading and writing french sentences, containing reasonably common french words, is good practice. There are answers at the back of the book but no dictionary.
