To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is the worst literary drivel ever. The dialogue seriously reminds me of things that my third grade students would write. A lot of the responses when speaking were, "Okay." There is no character development. The plot is boring. The illustrations also look like they've been done by a third grader, and not a talented one. Maybe I don't like it as much as other reviewers because I haven't read the other books in the series. I bought this book to read aloud with my daughter and this is not the kind of book I would want to read aloud. I could seriously see using this as an example for a third grade class of what I did not want their stories to look like. I've never been so happy that the cover of this book came damaged and I could return it without feel guilty.
