5/5⭐️ ~This graphic novel has so much of diverse representation, i absolutely loved it !!!! ~what happens after nick & charlie kiss in the first volume ¿ and also coming out is dealt so wonderfully in this graphic novel, i was like awwww again. ~just go & grab this book, meanwhile i’ll read them again 😇❤️ ~i love the way alice oseman related these graphic novels with her other YA novels by sharing common characters (ps : i love everything she writes)
I loved this so much! This was really beautifully written, and I loved seeing Nick's journey through understanding his own feelings and his relationship with Charlie. It was really nice to get some bi rep and an exploration of not understanding your own sexuality or identity. I love both Nick and Charlie's families, and Charlie's friends, as they're all so sweet and kind and supportive and it's just overwhelmingly heartwarming. I really love this series, because even though it has its dramas and moments of confusion and worrying about the characters, it's all handled in such a beautiful way that really makes this feel like such happy read.
I absolutely love Charlie and Nick. The whole confusion and with a support group around, in this case friends, help Nick's process of coming out and doing so in his own terms. Ideally every person that decides come out would do it in this way so hopefully books like this will help normalise how we discover ourselves. Either way it brought me back to the first days of the new relationship to what all of us can relate regardless of our sexuality.
The utterly adorable continuation of Alice Oseman’s comic story about Nick and Charlie as they chart the rocky road to discovering their true feelings for one another and what that means for their friendship going forwards.
I absolutely love this story, the characters and the art style. Despite being over 300 pages I got through it in only a couple of hours. That isn’t a humble brag or anything, I just wanted to point out how easy this story is to read.
I’ll probably give it another read through to tide me over until Volume 3 comes out which feels like it’s forever away!
Overall, adorable characters in a super easy to read story.
