Further adventures with Ivy & Bean, full of laughs & so easily related to the 7 yr olds the author portrays. My daughter has already pre ordered number 10 & its the only series of books she has read & re-read! Highly recommend.
Ivy and Bean are wonderful friends. In each book they have adventures, solve mysteries, get into trouble, really sweet stories of fun and friendship perfect for 6-10 year old, great read, my granddaughter loves them.
Our son, who is a little ruffian, has poured through this series, and is now anxiously awaiting the 11th installment. He's in first grade (6, almost 7 years old). These girls know how to have an adventure, and author seems to be drawing on experience. VERY well written. Recommended highly!
This was a Christmas gift for my grandsons. They thought it was an okay book, but not one they want to hear over and over again. Anything they read is a good thing, even if the material isn't enthralling, reading is still one of the most important things a child will ever learn how to do. So I buy books, and hope they will fall in love with reading as I did when I was their ages.
My granddaughter loves math and reading - not so much. I purchased her first Ivy and Bean book and now she loves to read. I read the first to her and we laughed and talked together about the story. Great books! She now has several and since we live miles apart, we can still bond over these books.
Reviewed by my 7 year old. My daughter has read many of the Ivy & Bean books. She says they are a bit more challenging than the Rainbow Fairy books(rainbow magic Fairy) series. She likes their adventures and the ideas in the books. Hope this helps! She would recommend these books.
