My rate and review is for the book plot and writting. The product was in excellent condition.
The book isn't too thick, the print size is medium.and papers are thick enough.
Now this book has 43 chapters, and you have to read till 20th chapter to actually get the story rolling. And get me hooked to it. It's fast paced, which I love. And is also pretty action packed. But the way the plot moved and the way it ended wasn't too flattering. I had a huge potential, which it failed.
The book has POV changes as chapters, so that can be confusing.
Also, the author didn't make it clear why Elian was so protected. And why Kye held him at such and high respect. And why they actually thought world revoled around them.
Though, as it's being told and acted out at Lira. It makes sense. But if in her place it was anyone else (if they act like that around anyone who stubbles upon them) I would say they are pretty mean people to be acting like that.
The story is a lot better when told from Lira's side. As she is doing through major developments and questionings. And also her side of romance is a lot well shown. While Elian really has an one track mind (in a weird way) and it is bit of a j@cka$$. His side of romance is a lot like suddenly imposed. And had to be done for the sake of plot.
The writing style got a lot better towards the middle of the book. But in the book, the descriptions were very unnecessary. And forced upon. The author was telling us the details rather than showing them. It was feeling really a lot like Roleplay writings. But it got better eventually.
Then again I would say, that I am in my 20s. And this book is strongly towards the teens. So I should not be dissecting it this hard.
But if you are an adult. Don't buy this for yourself. You won't (probably) like it.
