To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The text in this book I was sent is smaller than any book I own. And I own a few hundred. Its virtually impossible to read. This cost saving exercise to print on less pages is a joke. It needs to be reprinted.
Useful in many ways, and entertaining. Good even for a not native English as me. The author doesn't seem to know much about Fiction however, and I'm a bit alarmed of her condemning praised writers as Ian McEwan and Flannery O'Connor. She also prefer short sentences, so it's therefore a Good companion to the Book "Building Great Sentences".
Just a great read with advice that was easy to understand and help you spot where you are going well, and not so well. If you write anything, not just books but also marketing copy, blogs or papers, then you'll be a better writer for reading this.
