Mini review ✨
My ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
“Call It What You Want” is a story of two teens – Rob & Maegan who are avoided by the society like a plague. They both are judged and disliked by everyone in their class as well as their neighborhood.
I loved Rob’s character the most, he was so suffocated and miserable with the turn of events that his life became a living hell both inside his house and outside. He was blamed for his father’s mistake, which he had no clue about. Though he worked as an intern in his father’s workplace, he never came to know any of his father’s initiative.
Maegan too was judged without knowing the whole story. Every mistake has a proper explanation and she was never given a chance to explain that. We all are humans, and we all have the right to commit mistakes, but that doesn’t mean you should be judged every damn time!
You’ll love this book if you’re into:
🍂Teen romance
🍂Dark plot with an incredible twist
🍂strong female protagonist
🍂easy, light-hearted read
🍂popular boy & nerdy girl
🍂revolves around friendship, betrayal, bitter truths of society, family issues & morals.
🍂second chances
🍂No steamy scenes/spiciness
Trigger Warnings: attempted suicide
I highly recommend this book, it’s a beautiful story that’ll definitely make you cry and sob both with happiness and melancholy 🥺🥺
