To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is one of my favourite weeknight cookbooks ever! I have made so many recipes from this book, and some have become family favourites (the salmon with rose harissa -- do buy Belazu rose harissa, because the flavour is amazing and you will use it for many other recipes as well -- Ottolenghi and Jamie Oliver recipes call for it too).
I checked the cookbook out from the library, and sat down with my stack of sticky notes to mark things I wanted to make. Several pages in I had given up on sticky notes and ordered my own copy because I wanted to make EVERYTHING! I have had the cookbook less than 2 weeks now and have made about a dozen things and they’ve all been amazing. This has become my favorite cookbook I’ve ever had. (Btw I almost never write reviews but just had to share because this cookbook is amazing.)
Edited to add, 4 months and many more meals from this cookbook later, it is still my favorite!
